pride is an intermediate to advanced warrior cats rpg based back in the old warriors forest. we are traditional and literate role-players; unlike other sites where members create warriors with names like 'metalsound' or 'forgottenheart', we only allow those names that are true to a warrior and those that make sense, as a warrior would know. we do not allow fantasy creatures, and although a little imagination is useful, a lot is even better.
on this site you are allowed to voice your opinion, even if you are talking back to staff. we tolerate talk backs because we know everyone has a different opinion and the site belongs not to us, but to the members. opinions will be discussed and accepted as we deem them alright. we however, do not tolerate insults aimed directly at the site and would prefer you find a more sophisticated way in bringing about your opinion.
we are coded by mostly css, with some javascript. we code with css because that makes the forum far more customizable then html does, and it allows us to explore different styles of layouts. although we are flexible, we will not accept side tables on to our site. skins will very every four months. season-to-season. colour schemes will be based on the type of weather each season brings. i.e. yellows, golds, or reds for spring, like flowers; greens and browns for summer, like the grass and beach; browns and oranges and golds for fall, like halloween and leaves and darkness; and whites and blues for winter like snow.
we do not have a main-plot site for the most part. we prefer to let the members decide what to do with their characters. members create mini-plots and may pm staff if they mini-plot should evolve in to something bigger. major plots will be voted in by the members but all members have a choice on whether to participate or not. i do not force people to play in a plot. that isn't fair and isn't fun.
overall, we are a fairly new, different styled warriors role-play with a mix of fun, excitement, and old-fashioned tradition.
thanks for reading!
